- Loofah Sponges come from the dried loofah plant, a cousin to cucumbers! While you can’t scrub with a cucumber, a loofah sponge makes an amazing plastic replacement for bath, dish, and cleaning sponges.
Size
- 7 cm x 11 cm x 2 cm
- One side is made from loofah (plant)
- The other side is made from wood pulp cellulose
- Sewed together with cotton
- Freshen up in the dishwasher or washing machine at 30ºC
- Dry out between uses to prevent mould
- Once well used, cut up the sponge (to speed up composting) and place in home compost bin
- If you don’t compost, you can place in general waste and be smug in the knowledge you haven't generated plastic waste!
